Don Morton

I graduated with a textile degree from UMass Dartmouth. While pursuing my chosen career full time I bought several houses over a 6 year span. After doing well with my real estate investments I left my career position and became a full time investor amasing several million dollars worth of single and multi-family homes. After a downturn in the market I re-entered the job market. I spent 21 years working at the Rhode Island School of Design most recently as the Director of Student Involvement. While there I honed my design thinking while operating an interior design consultancy for 4 years. Later I co-founded Swift Development Group a single family design build company where I held the responsibility of principal designer.

In 2016 I left RISD to pursue my real estate passion full time. My focus has been purchasing distressed single family homes, re-thinking how they would function optimally and renovating them accordingly. At this point in my life I can only pursue what excites me and offers a sense of enrichment to myself and the communities that I am involved in. I encourage readers of this site to read my testimonials for an insight into my purpose and mission.
